About Phlox With Love

Spread the love

At times I begin to desperately dream of a large garden plot again. The tiny garden can not accommodate all the floral desires of the collector-fan.

In such difficult moments, fortunately, I remember that I once worked as a “landscape painter”, and force myself to switch from collecting to design. It helps! Critically looking at your garden through the eyes of the designer, immediately come to a clear conclusion: with the number of colors “bust”, and the flower beds are overloaded with pretentious, though rare in beauty varieties.

So we have to make a choice, from several relatively similar varieties to leave only one. With years of experience in this kind of” evolutionary selection”, I learned to restrain myself and control in collecting many garden crops, except… Phlox.

Those Phlox! None of the other favorite colors do not cause me such a storm of positive emotions! Why? Yes, because many of my friends growers with special tenderness and significance pronounce the name of this flower.

Because in almost any garden and village front garden live delightful Phlox. They live there for many years, and treat them as local old — timers-with respect and respect.

And the most Frank and enthusiastic declarations of love for flowers I heard from those who love Phlox! And one of my old friend, visiting the garden at the time of blooming Phlox, always inspired and selflessly reads poetry, touching his cheek to a twig with satin and fragrant flowers, although in everyday life it is not particularly romantic.

Only professional breeders and Amateur florists could create amazing varieties-masterpieces.

Have you ever wondered what happens to patient and restrained breeders when they come up with the name of a new Phlox, selected from a huge variety of seedlings? Make only a few names that are as pretty and the roads they these flowers, how bright and anxious feeling will take possession of them…

Particularly exclusive Phlox were described as”the latest varieties derived from different famous gardens and recommended as more beautiful than the previous varieties.” There are even descriptions of these phloxes, and here are the pictures then of course you didn’t.

The florist loves “eyes”, everyone knows it. An enthusiastic lover who saw once the coveted variety, it is difficult to stop in an irresistible desire to have this flower in his garden.

Recently I have a new hobby: I collect photos of varietal Phlox. This is an acceptable way out of the problematic situation. My friends collectors offer as a centerfold my Phlox, and I have great pleasure suit in July-August-site photo shoot.

In today’s photo gallery presents varieties that grow in the gardens of my friends collectors and fans of Phlox.

It is not always possible to take photos from the first time, in which the varieties are well recognized. However, this is true in relation to most other garden flowers.

Many factors matter. But one of the most important and important — the desire. With modern technical achievements, only your great desire is enough, and experience and skill will come with time — I am absolutely sure of it!
