I think many summer residents have already got roomy freezers and most of the crop is placed there. This method of preserving vegetables, herbs and berries requires the least time and effort. the importance of this aspect is very keenly felt during the summer heat and autumn worries. I suggest using the fruits of my last year’s labors and making a pie with frozen berries.
The ingredients will need the simplest, special skills are not required. Berries are suitable for almost any, but you need to keep in mind that for children it is better to take raspberries, and for those who love sourness — currants.
Ingredients
- 150 g butter or margarine (can be mixed),
- 150 g of sugar,
- 1.5 cups of flour,
- 3 eggs,
- 1.5-2 cups frozen berries,
- 1 tablespoon baking powder or 1 teaspoon slaked soda,
- 1-2 tablespoons of starch,
- vanilla sugar,
- powdered sugar for sprinkling.
Preparation
I will use a mixer for mixing. Beat the eggs with sugar. In the bowl of a multicooker, put the oil and melt it in any mode. This way you don’t have to grease the bowl before baking.
In the egg-sugar mixture, add the flour, baking powder, and mix a little. Pour the melted butter and knead well until smooth. Do not forget to add vanilla sugar.
In the frozen berries, pour the starch and mix — so the berry filling will not be completely liquid. Pour the dough into the bowl of a slow cooker. Spread the berries on the surface of the dough.
Bake in the “Baking” mode for 60-80 minutes depending on the power of the multi-cooker, I bake for 80 minutes. Remove the cake using the steamer bowl, let it cool slightly and sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
If the pie is designed for children, then sprinkle more, since even raspberries will sour. But from my point of view, this is a very interesting taste — a sweet base and a slightly sour filling that smells like summer.
