Not all the beds in the country. The original flower beds, areas of lawn and recreation areas gradually close to the vegetable garden. Thanks to the pergola, you can plant climbing plants wherever you want, and it will help to zone the territory or fence off part of it.
On sale, of course, you can find anything, but in fact it turns out that this “all” rarely fits perfectly into the specific landscape of your site. Therefore, more practical (and cheaper) to make a pergola on your own.

To pergola served for a long time, before assembling all of its parts must be treated with antiseptic.
Collect the main parts, they will be 3: two sidewalls and the top (they are the same). At the ends of the thick slats perpendicular to impose a short thin rail, cover the top with thin long slats (see photo below). Align the corners and tighten the screws.
We do the same from the other end of the long slats. The result is a frame. Then insert another 4 short slats between the long ones at an equal distance from each other (35 cm). We fix them with screws. It turned out like a light ladder.
Make 2 the same parts. Then the two sides need to attach the supports of the timber — so the whole structure will be more stable. Pre-do the layout to the frame was in the center of the support.
The frame is attached to the support using a metal angle and screws.
Collect the entire structure. Attach the top to the sidewalls. To do this, retreat from the edge of the upper right and left 50 cm and using the corners and screws attach the sides.
For ease of transportation, if necessary, fasten the temporary slats to the lower and middle part of the pergola, then remove them.
Install the pergola on a leveled platform. If you have strong gusty winds blowing from time to time, you can additionally secure the base of the structure with anchors or pegs. Also, for greater rigidity, you can leave the average temporary rail.
Sidewalls decorate, for example, use for this plastic mesh segments of the appropriate size, fixing them with screws. On the transverse rails are well placed planters with flowers.
This design is easy to disassemble for the winter, disconnecting the upper part from the sidewalls, and put away for storage.
