Carrots are a bright, healthy root vegetable that has a beneficial effect on human health. Perhaps we do not have a single organ on which this vegetable does not have a positive effect.
In particular, carrots and carrot juice normalize the tone of blood vessels and strengthen the walls of capillaries, stabilize blood pressure, stimulate hematopoiesis, reduce cholesterol, increase the level of hemoglobin in the blood, strengthen the heart muscle.
Fresh carrots and carrot juice are recommended to be included in the diet of healthy people — for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases-and used in a therapeutic diet for atherosclerosis, anemia and other diseases.
However, with all the undoubted benefits of carrots, it should not be used for exacerbations of stomach ulcers and duodenal ulcers, acute enteritis and colitis. With diabetes, it is recommended to consult a doctor and be careful when including carrots in the diet: some varieties of this root crop have a high sugar content.
Do not exceed the recommended dose and use carrots for medicinal purposes for longer than 1 month without interruption. If there are other ingredients in the recipe, make sure that you do not have any contraindications to them.
