If you perform this procedure every day, especially during flu epidemics, the probability of getting sick will significantly decrease. Yes, it is unpleasant. But it’s also unpleasant to get sick! And if you don’t like this recipe, try other ways to use onions:

  • Wine with onions and honey

Chop a small onion (100-150 g), put the resulting gruel in a liter jar, add 100 g of honey, mix. Pour the mixture with any grape wine (0.7-0.8 liters) and infuse for 2 weeks in a dark place at room temperature. Strain, take 3-4 tbsp.spoons a day, regardless of the meal. The drug has antiviral activity and helps to strengthen the immune system.

  • Onion and garlic oil for the prevention of flu and colds

Heat 1 cup of vegetable oil in a water bath for half an hour. Cool, add the chopped onion (0.5 small onion) and garlic (4 medium-sized cloves). Stir, insist for 2 hours, strain. The resulting product is used to lubricate the nasal mucosa in the morning and evening during influenza and SARS epidemics.

Garlic also has a wide range of antiviral and bactericidal effects.

Spicy herbs for the prevention of colds and flu

Many summer residents grow spicy-flavored and spicy-aromatic plants on their plots. This means that you almost certainly have the necessary tools to protect yourself from viruses at home! The easiest way is to hang scented bags of dried herbs in the rooms. Change these bags for new ones at least once a month.

Recipe 3

1 teaspoon of dried crushed sage, thyme or rosemary, pour a glass of boiling water and insist under the lid for 5-10 minutes. Strain, add honey and lemon. Drink this drink daily, alternating herbs.
