Japanese Garden

The Japanese garden is a combination of beauty, spirituality without anything superfluous. In garden art, there are quite strict canons in birth and creation, as in painting. A common feature of Japanese gardens is the observance of the seasons. The distinctive feature of these gardens is tranquility, refinement, perfection. When creating a garden, the “main character” is selected in advance. Accordingly, gardens of trees, gardens of stones, and gardens of water are created. The basis of the Japanese garden is the natural landscape, which consists of five elements: ideas, plants, water, and architectural structures. Each such element is endowed with meaning. Water is a symbol of life, and plants symbolize the impermanence of life. When creating the garden, a wide variety of plants were used: pine, juniper, spruce. The stone is the center of Japanese symbolism in the interior. The stones symbolize the beauty of nature. The atmosphere of comfort and security is created by gates, benches, bridges, lanterns. When designing gardens, only natural materials are used: wood, stone, less often metal, but no colorful materials are used. The main value of the Japanese garden is the opportunity to feel like a piece of nature, time.
