Broth: 10 g of leaves pour 200 ml of water, heat on low heat for 5-7 minutes, insist 30 minutes, strain.

Compresses of broth or infusion is used for various diathesis, purulent wounds.

Matricaria recutita syn. Chamomilla recutita

This is an annual plant up to 60 cm high with complex openwork leaves and white small inflorescences-baskets 2-2.5 cm in diameter. Conical receptacle inside the hollow (a characteristic feature of this species).

Harvested at the beginning of flowering. Dried in dryers at a temperature no higher than + 40°C or under canopies, a layer of 3-4 cm.

Application in cosmetology
When inflammation of the eyes, they are washed with chamomile infusion in the morning and evening. From infusion make lotions for problem skin with youthful acne, itchy skin inflammation, allergic manifestations. Well add in the chamomile steam baths for the face.

Infusion

  1. Raw Matricaria recutita (1 tablespoon) pour 200 ml of boiling water.
  2. Insist 15-20 minutes, filter.

Cichorium intybus

Perennial or biennial herbaceous plant with a height of 70-150 cm with a basal rosette and stem leaves similar to the leaves of sow-Thistle; inflorescence-baskets of blue, with a diameter of 3-4 cm.
