Garlic in Diseases of the Joints and Osteochondrosis

Garlic has a wide range of medicinal properties, its products are used in the treatment of many diseases. It is effective, including in diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

For arthritis, arthrosis, sciatica, gout, rheumatism and osteochondrosis, garlic preparations are used both internally and externally. When used inside, remember the contraindications: garlic should not be used for acute inflammatory kidney diseases; gastritis and peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum against the background of increased acidity of gastric juice; pancreatitis; hemorrhoids in the acute phase. Pregnant women should consult with their doctor before deciding on the use of garlic and its preparations.

  • Garlic tincture for joint diseases and osteochondrosis

Peel and chop 300 g (10.5 oz) of garlic, put them in a dark glass bottle, pour 0.5 liters of vodka, close the lid, insist in a dark place at room temperature for 10 days, strain. Store in a cool, dark place.

For rheumatism, gout and arthritis, take for 1 month 3 times a day 20 minutes before meals, 20 drops of tincture with 0.5 cups of milk. Take a break for 10 days and repeat the course. With osteochondrosis and arthrosis, take the tincture according to the same scheme, but 30 drops per reception.

In addition to the general contraindications, this tincture should not be used also for angina, pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • Garlic tincture with lemon and pepper for diseases of the joints and spine

Mix 300 g (10.5 oz) of peeled minced garlic, 300 g (10.5 oz) of lemons, crushed together with the peel, and 1-2 chopped medium-sized hot peppers. Pour the mixture of 0.5 liters of vodka, carefully seal, insist in a dark place at room temperature for 10 days, strain. Take 3 times a day for half an hour before meals, 1 tablespoon of tincture and at the same time rub it into the sore spot. The course is 1 month, after a 10-day break, if necessary, you can repeat it.

The use of tincture is contraindicated in any acute diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys and liver, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • Garlic with apple cider vinegar for joint diseases (external)

Peel 7-8 large cloves of garlic, chop, pour 0.5 liters of apple cider vinegar, add 100 ml (3.5 oz) of vodka, mix thoroughly, seal, insist in a cool dark place for 3 weeks, shaking regularly, then strain. RUB sore joints to relieve pain and inflammation; this remedy is also effective for sprains.

  • Garlic infusion with lemon for joint diseases

Chop 4 garlic heads (pre-peeled) and 4 medium-sized lemons (with the skin, but without the seeds). Mix, pour the mixture with 1 liter of boiling water and insist under the lid for 1 day. Strain, take 3 times a day for half an hour before meals, 50 ml (1.8 oz) of the infusion.
