New year’s eve, everywhere you can see the preparations for this wonderful holiday: on the streets of the city illuminations, Windows of houses in the evenings, lights garlands, squares, shopping malls (Yes in every office!) are Christmas trees. And, of course, each of us is involved in pleasant chores, creating a new year mood in your home. Perfect for this purpose, the snowman will still stand in the room and will not melt.
For the manufacture of such a cheerful winter character will need:
- white or clear plastic cups. On one sphere of leaves 169 units;
- 1 sheet of drawing paper;
- colored cardboard;
- sellotape;
- 2 Christmas balls for eyes, 1 red Cup or large carrot for nose;
- stapler with staples;
- garland, tinsel;
- a basin or bucket for a hat.

We fasten with a stapler 23 cups, forming a circle. Over it in the same way we make the second row of the same number of glasses, but now we fasten them not only among themselves, but also from time to time we take the first row.
The first two rows consist of 23 cups each
The following rows are attached to the previous ones with a small (0.5 cm) offset to the center. In the end it should leave a hole with a diameter of 15 cm so the third row will need 20 cups, the fourth 16, the fifth — 14 cups. It turned out the first hemisphere of the bottom of the snowman.

Now it needs to turn over and collect the second part. We start with the second row, that is, fix 23 cups, then 20, then 16 and 14. Rows can be collected separately, superimposed on top and attached to the previous one.

In the same way we make two more spheres. If you snowman seems too big, you can limit yourself to only two balls.
Finished three parts of a snowman
For stability of a design it is necessary to make a core. For this purpose a sheet of drawing paper to fold in half lengthwise and cut on the fold line. Then roll from the received parts of two cylinders with a diameter of about 10 cm and fasten with tape or office rubber bands. In the process one cylinder to increase the second so that the length of the finished rod was about four feet.

On the finished rod attach a garland. For this purpose it is possible to use a stationery elastic bands and an adhesive tape.

It is time to gather our snowman. In the first sphere, insert the rod with a garland, and the rest put on it.

Now prepare the new year’s hat. A bowl decorate with snowflakes or tinsel.

Make a face. Blue Christmas balls put in suitable cups on the “head”, attach the red Cup or carrot in the right place, cut out the red cardboard smile and stick it.

Our snowman is ready! It remains to place it in a suitable place and turn on the lights. So, even if you do not have a Christmas tree, Christmas mood will be provided.
