Raspberries have a pronounced diaphoretic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic effect, so it is traditionally used in folk medicine in the treatment of colds.
We used fresh, ground with sugar, dried berries, and now it’s time to take care of their collection. However, do not forget about the < strong>contraindications: raspberries should not be used for nephritis and gout.
Berries for drying are collected in dry weather, sorted, kept for a day, and then dried at a temperature of +50…+60 degrees (122-140°F) in the dryer. Properly dried raw materials do not stick together and do not get your hands dirty.
- Raspberry Infusion
2 tablespoons of dried berries pour 1 cup of boiling water, insist under the lid for 20 minutes, strain, squeeze in raw form. For colds and flu, drink hot 2-3 times a day as a diaphoretic.
- Raspberries with milk and honey for colds
Mix 1 tablespoon of raspberries (crushed fresh or ground with sugar), honey and butter, add 30 g (1 oz) of cognac or vodka, pour 1 cup of hot milk, mix well. For a late-night drink. This is a strong diaphoretic, so it is advisable to immediately prepare a change of clothes to change the patient’s clothes and re-make the bed after heavy sweating.
A milder version of this remedy: mix 1 tablespoon of raspberries, honey and lemon juice, pour 1 cup of hot tea, mix. Drink hot water before going to bed.
- Raspberries and lime blossom for colds
Mix the dried raspberries and lime blossom taken in equal proportions. 1 tablespoon of the collection pour 1 cup of boiling water, insist under the lid for 20 minutes, strain. Take in hot form 3-4 times a day for 0.5 cups.
- Sweatshop herbal tea with raspberries
Mixture of dried crushed plant material:
- 2 slices of raspberries;
- 2 pieces of Tussilago leaves;
- 1 part oregano herb.

- Anti-flu balm with raspberries
Thoroughly mix the dried crushed vegetable raw materials:
- 50 g (1.8 oz) of berries and raspberry leaves;
- 2 tablespoons of oregano herb;
- 2 tablespoons of hyssop herb;
- 2 tablespoons of Matricaria chamomilla flower baskets;
- 2 tablespoons of tussilago leaves.
