Eton mess
Traditional English dessert consisting of strawberries, meringue and cream. It is believed that this treat comes from Eton College, where it was served at the annual cricket competitions. The first mention of it dates back as much as 1893! The recipe is very simple – why not try it?
For preparations will need:
- strawberries – 500 g;
- meringue – 150-200 g;
- cream 30% – 200 ml.;
- sugar or honey – to taste.
Cooking recipe:
- Beat cream with sugar or honey.
- Arbitrarily slice the strawberries, broken meringue and put in a glass with layers of strawberries, meringue and cream.
Strawberry tiramisu
Gorgeous Italian dessert, complemented by fresh strawberries, will be an amazing treat for the evening summer gatherings with family and friends.
For preparations will need:
- package of cookies – 1 PC.;
- mascarpone cheese – 500 g;
- eggs – 4 PCs.;
- sugar – 150 g;
- strawberries – 300 g.
Cooking recipe:
- Separately whisk the whites with 100 g sugar and the egg yolks with 100 g sugar.
- Prepare the cream: combine the whites, yolks and mascarpone, beat.
- 200 g strawberry puree with 50 g sugar, 100 g strawberries cut into halves.
- Half of the cookie dipped in strawberry puree, put the first layer in the form put part of the cream. Again, a biscuit dipped in mashed potatoes, spread the second layer, put the second part of the cream, decorate berries.
Strawberry marshmallow
The most delicate and fragrant marshmallow will not leave anyone indifferent! It is well kept in tightly closed containers for about two weeks, but I do not think that it will lie down for a couple of days)
For preparations will need:
- strawberries – 400 g;
- sugar – 600 g;
- water – 160 ml.;
- egg white – 1 PC.;
- agar-agar – 4.5 teaspoons;
- powdered sugar for sprinkling.
Cooking recipe:
- Soak in cold water agar-agar for about an hour – until swelling.
- The strawberries through a sieve to get rid of the seeds.
- Strawberry puree heat, add 200 g of sugar, mix well until it is completely dissolved, cool.
- Pour the cooled puree into a very large bowl, add the protein and beat for 5-6 minutes until the mixture is lighter and larger in volume.
- Agar-agar put on the fire, allow to dissolve and boil. Pour 400 g of sugar and continue to cook on low heat for another 5 minutes, until the syrup will not stretch a thin thread with a spoon, which interfere. Allow to cool.
- Continuing to whisk the strawberry puree, gently pour the hot syrup in a thin stream (along the wall).
- Beat the mass until it becomes thick and lush.
- Agar-agar solidifies at 40°C, so we must act very quickly – put the mass in a cooking bag and planted on parchment paper.
- Leave to solidify at room temperature for about a day.
- Sprinkle the halves with powdered sugar and connect.
Strawberry chips
