You also need to pay attention to the mixture of gasoline and engine oil, because everyone knows that two-stroke engines often do not have a separate tank for engine oil: the cylinder burns a mixture of gasoline and oil mixed by the user when refueling. Therefore, it is important to keep the proportions and use high-quality oil intended for two-stroke engines, so that the piston and cylinder walls do not form carbon deposits that reduce performance and lead to premature breakdowns.

Replacing fuel in a two-stroke trimmer

The process of replacing the gasoline-oil mixture is not complicated.
- Take a measuring container for gasoline and a large syringe without a needle to measure the oil. You can use a special mixing can – with separate tanks for gasoline and oil with marks for accurate dosage and a convenient spout for refueling.
- If you have a regular measuring container, pour the required amount of oil into it, add half a portion of gasoline to it, and mix well. Only then pour in the remaining gasoline and mix again. The mixture is ready.
- Make sure that there is no old fuel in the tank. Fill in the new one and close the lid tightly.

Changing the oil in a lawn mower with a four-stroke engine

- Start the lawn mower and let the engine run for 10-15 minutes. The oil will warm up during this time and will merge better.
