Who of the happy owners of the suburban area at least once did not think about the garden in the style of “planted and forgotten” (aka “light”, aka “lazy” garden)? But it’s not just laziness: some simply do not have enough time, and others have experience for growing capricious crops. However, everyone wants to have a beautiful, well-kept garden, not a bunch of randomly growing greenery. With proper planning and selection of plants cherished dream can become a reality.

To create a “lazy” garden, you can use flowers, ornamental and fruit bushes.

Flowers: annuals and perennials

1. Crocuses

Crocuses are considered unpretentious, if only because they bloom in March, as soon as the snow comes down, and bloom until may.

These perennials bright purple, yellow or white spots will revive the still “sleeping” garden.

2. Lýchnis

Lýchnis grows well. Very quickly at the landing site there is a “carpet” of greenery with flowers of pink, blue, purple and other shades.

3. Lavatera

One of the most common annuals. Blooms in June and continues to bloom until autumn.

Lavatera looks spectacular in the flower beds due to the variety of colors (white, pink, pink-crimson, yellow) and optimal density and height of the Bush (from 0.5 to 1.5-2 m). It tolerates rare watering, does not need regular fertilizing and loosening of the soil.

4. Brunnera

For landing in wet places suitable Brunnera. Its blue blossoms, located in a rosette of leaves, it will revive the most shady corner of the garden.

As a rule, the plant reaches a height of 60 cm, takes root well after transplantation into the ground and safely tolerates winter frosts.

5. Aquilegia

Therefore, in the durability and longevity there is no doubt they are well maintained cold, wind, moisture, shade. The only thing they need is light. But even in its absence, they will not die, but simply will not bloom.

And their flowering is worth seeing! Blue, white, blue-purple, yellow, orange or even two-color inflorescences, immersed in bright green stems and leaves.

8. Centaurea

Centaurea perennials have long moved from meadows to gardens. Colors – as calm pink, pale purple, white or blue, and bright. The ideal lighting for cornflower is a shade. There are no special requirements for soil and “neighbors”. They get along well with other plants.

Ornamental shrubs
