It is known that in Japan, every year the beginning of the cherry blossom is a whole national event — it is watched by the entire meteorological agency and the media. In Tokyo, in the Central Park of Shinjuku, in the presence of the Imperial Family, the official opening of the flowering season takes place, which begins one of the most beautiful holidays in Japan – Hanami. This tradition originated in the VII century. However, Cherry blossoms bloom in this country when you need to start planting rice, and there are always some trees of this beautiful Cherry tree growing in every village.

It is believed that the more abundant the flowering, the more happiness awaits people in the year, since each blooming flower, according to Japanese legend, is the fate of a child. In addition, in the lovely flowers of the Japanese Sakura, you can see the line of life: its instability, ephemerality and transience. And the ability of the cherry blossom to fall without fading on the branches, connects its stability and purity.

The name Sakura is not associated with any particular type. Most often these are garden varieties obtained as a result of centuries-old crossing; the history of some varieties begins with the XV century. In domestic horticulture, cherry varieties are found in the form of small-flowered cherries (Cerasusserrulata).
