What Does Not Happen in Nature, or Chinese “Wonders”

Spread the love

Probably, all summer residents-experimenters. We are constantly trying something new, willing to” get into ” all sorts of rarities and wonders, believe the beautiful pictures on the packaging of seeds and planting material — and unscrupulous sellers often use it.

What kind of “miracle plants” we do not sell — blue roses, climbing strawberries, hybrids of potatoes and tomato, giving as much as two crops — and tubers, and fruits… And we so want miracles that we are ready to sometimes forget about common sense. And if you look, for example, on ebay.com… That’s where the real Wonderland is!

I decided to collect a small “collection” of Chinese ” curiosities “and find out your opinion, friends: why do you think these” inventions ” marketers are in demand? Have you ever come across such a fishing rod? Or maybe you have your own examples of “new selection” created with the help of graphic editors?

The palette of a crazy artist, or Photoshop to help

Looking at the presented “masterpieces”, I wonder: what was the one who did it? And are there people who really believe in blue watermelons and black strawberries? Photoshop in the right hands, of course works wonders, but is it possible to perceive such pictures as photos of real plants?

Nicely, of course…

Roses and curiosities

Roses are the favorite of gardeners. Apparently, it is for this reason that most of the “unique” and “rare” varieties “are derived by” photoshop masters from these flowers. Fantasy knows no boundaries! See for yourself:

You can choose to your taste…

This picture is “walking” all over the Internet. And it is clear, it seems, that this in nature can not be — and the seeds, however, are actively sold…

But the photo seems to be familiar, and the idea is still in demand. So, there will certainly be new” unique “varieties of” rainbow ” roses. For example, such here:

“Unique” varieties of “rainbow” roses

Or like this. By certainly not pass-a spectacular sight!

And a little more “exotic”

To achieve such a stunning result is not easy, but very simple — do not work for years in greenhouses, cross plants, select the best results… It’s much easier! Take a picture of an ordinary rose, a little “conjure” with color in any available editor — and here’s another ” new selection»:

How to make new items

Surprisingly, both photos (taken from ebay.com) flashed on the site side by side. Artists – ” breeders “do not particularly bother to search for sources for their” works”, so such images — the same, but in different colors — are quite common. But really nobody catches the eye so obvious similarity of pictures?

Here is a wonderful example of:

Dramatic, right?

Black color of the creators of” unique varieties ” is quite popular. And nothing in the nature of “black” plants are usually dark purple or rich purple. You can draw everything!

And totally black…

In particular, the blue roses are the most fantastic shades — from subtle to saturated, with a black sheen:

Blue roses are very popular

For those who know that blue roses do not happen, a special temptation — rose gentle turquoise. Not blue same-almost green, almost plausible…

And pale turquoise…

And romantic nature, perhaps, will appreciate this “rare offer” – though it looks like a real rose?

Fantastic flowers

These plants are truly fabulous. And how great it would be to grow in your garden a magic flower and make a wish…

Without comments, just admire: blue peonies and ditsentry, rainbow tulips, purple marigolds (which, by the way, sellers stubbornly call calendula, but it is not so important)

Other “wonders”

Fans of hibiscus, please rate:

Fruits and berries of all colors of the rainbow

Of course, do not remain without attention and fans to grow something edible. However, I find it hard to believe that someone is able to cause an appetite ultramarine strawberries or poisonous lilac watermelon, but the tastes do not argue…

For those who find it difficult to make a choice — like all the colors — there is a special offer: multi-colored strawberry platter

There’s watermelons. Please note: the blue and purple options are the same picture.

Growing kiwis in our area is a bold experiment in itself. And then there’s the fruit amazing beauty promise…

Multicolored garden

We are no longer surprised by white cucumbers, black tomatoes, purple pepper, purple potatoes and other vegetables of unusual color. But that’s it — one plant fruits from bluish black to pale lilac and bright orange…

To the delight of tomato lovers

Certainly, the authors of these pictures are a little carried away by creativity. But you know what the most amazing thing is? Statistically speaking, someone’s buying it…

Colorful tomatoes

On ebay in General, you can see a lot of interesting things — there are red cucumbers, and pepper with giant (in the growth of the child) fruits, and bulbs with watermelon size… and among all these “miracles” it is almost impossible to distinguish the real varieties. For example, corn-such as in the picture at the bottom right, in nature it seems to happen. Or not?..

I have little hands are drawn, for example, to eustoma — in our stores such a diversity of varieties I have not met, and the number of seeds in the package significantly different (50 pieces vs. 5 for the same money). But how can such proposals be trusted? After blue roses and purple watermelons something doubts take…

Maybe you already have experience growing plants from Chinese seeds-share! Tell us what you bought — and that eventually grew. How much did the result coincide with the expectation? Are there any examples of successful purchases?
