Do you have a garden? Then there are probably mysterious little wizards living in it. And they should be friends. How? It is very simple and at the same time difficult. You need to build a fabulous miniature garden for them. It can be large, or it can be very small — just a flower pot of a cozy area where fairies and elves can enjoy spending time.
There are such corners in almost every garden in England. This tradition of creating gardens for fairies has been around for centuries. In the time of Queen Victoria, the English said: “Fairies live in the depths of your garden.” This meant that there, in the most abandoned corner of the garden that no one could reach, wild plants dominated and the magic of the wild nature was felt and fairies lived. A lot of wildlife, rabbits, frogs, butterflies, there are nests of birds, dandelions, clover grow.

The desire to lure fairies to your garden is understandable: if the fairies like the garden offered to her by the hostess, she will become a reliable defender and protector of the house, its good spirit. So, maybe you will have such places in the gardens? But if you have small children, the idea is to bring them together. This is a wonderful activity, fun and creative, before which children simply can not resist. And for adults, this is a great opportunity to practice landscape design.

This garden should be located in a secluded, quiet corner of your garden. After all, the magic people do not tolerate interference in their mysterious lives. Fairies love a romantic style, so you should avoid modern bold design trends, although you never know-maybe this is the garden that a young modern fairy wants to settle in?

You can use everything from figurines, figurines made of plaster to children’s toys, miniature fairies and candle houses. You can make benches out of sticks, hang lanterns and garlands on the wire.

If you are engaged in modeling, you will be able to apply your creative abilities, sculpting turrets, arches, tables, slides of stones.

In my plans, or rather dreams, to build a stone house out of gravel. On ordinary cement mortar. Make a bridge out of gravel over an imaginary river. By the way, you can build a small pond or lake out of mirrors. Glass beads can become a flashlight, glass stones-an imitation of a stream.

Parents of girls, of course, can use miniature dishes and furniture. Just be careful and don’t overdo it with plastic! Natural materials will look better in all respects, so that the composition looks more balanced from the point of view of the natural environment. It is worth seeing at the fair, where they often sell pottery, miniature pots, pitchers, houses, lamps. These elements can be the highlight of your garden fairies.

And of course, what is a garden without plants? As trees, you can plant buckets — they are easily formed and can be in the proportions of a kindergarten in length. The buxus can form in the form of a tree and a bare stem and feed on a pyramidal shape. The fairies ‘ favorite plants are thyme, bluebells (the love fairy’s cap), clover, primroses, ferns and roses. There is one kind of rose “Fairy” – it is simply created for a romantic enchanted garden. Be sure to use it in your project. By the way, the miniature roses that are presented to us in pots are ideal for garden fairies.

Tree fairies love the Apple Tree. They also like rosehip, hawthorn and lilac bushes, as well as any fragrant beautiful flowers. If these plants surround your magical garden, success is assured.

For a miniature garden, many small-flowered plants are suitable. And the background for garden compositions can be either a paved area or a platform made of moss pads.

There are wonderful low-growing varieties of thyme, they are also suitable for our garden. I think that since the fairies love fragrant grass, you will be happy to settle in a fragrant garden. Undersized balls of blooming bows also look elegant, reminding of the art of topiary-trimmed plants.

Garden fairies can even be arranged in a small old swimming pool. From thin twigs to make a fence in the form of a fence or weave a wire from it.

You can even build a garden railway using old toys. This idea will definitely appeal to the boys.

It is important to find parts of approximately the same size — then the garden will look real. The garden can have rock gardens, scree, slides — anything that your imagination comes up with!
