New year is a Christmas tree. And where the Christmas tree – there Christmas toys, garlands, tinsel… The new fashion trend is not to decorate the Christmas tree at all or decorate it may seem unexpected and strange. How is it! We are used to the fact that the festive tree should be lush, elegant, and we are offered a dull and boring decor, or even its complete absence?!
Do not rush to conclusions, let’s see what the advantages of the newfangled idea and who it may suit. It is not for nothing that the popularity of Christmas minimalism is growing so fast.
Natural beauty is in fashion today
Conifers are beautiful in themselves, don’t you agree? Expressive texture, rich color, harmonious shape-giving up bright tinsel and shiny balls, we can see this natural beauty, admire the natural perfection.
The idea is all the more relevant if the interior of your apartment or country house is characterized by minimalism, and the tree in the traditional lush decoration looks like an alien element in it.
Festive tree “no frills” will come in handy, for example, in the kitchen or in the bedroom. And in the living room, if anything, you can put the usual elegant Christmas tree.
Those who want something traditional-new year “for the mood” still want to hang on the branches of a tree a few small ornaments in a single color scheme or an electric garland.
Or you can even compromise: hang toys next to the tree, creating an independent composition of them.
But choosing this option, be careful: decorative elements should not compete with the tree, distract attention to themselves. Perhaps the best solution will be Christmas crafts and decor in Ecostyle, but even if you prefer something else, avoid bright colors and do not overload the composition with details: minimalism is so minimalism!
Christmas trees do not happen much!
One Christmas tree, and even without toys, seems to you lonely and not festive at all? And two? And three?..

Coniferous aroma creates a festive mood, greenery enlivens even the most ascetic interior — is it necessary to color with tinsel what is so harmonious? Of course, everyone has different tastes, and there is no single standard. But why not try to create a simple and elegant composition: only a pine twig in a transparent container and candles…
And if you are lucky: there were cones on the branches — they will serve as decoration! It remains only to successfully arrange the “bouquets” in suitable vases.
Who would need such an idea
It is clear that the taste and color of the comrades there, and not everyone will agree to deviate from the established tradition of decorating a festive Christmas tree. But ideas are not born from scratch, and if the new year minimalism appeared, then someone needs it. It is worth paying attention to this option of interior design, if:

Now you do not need to reproach yourself for the fact that again you do not have time to dress up the Christmas tree and decorate the house. And then you do not have to painfully find time in a busy schedule to remove all this beauty. Just announce to your friends (and yourself!) that this year it is fashionable NOT to decorate the Christmas tree!

Or repair. Or something else — and engage in decorating the Christmas tree now does not want to, but kind of need. Look at the situation differently: to abandon the magnificent decoration-does not mean to abandon the holiday. I think these examples have proved it convincingly, and it’s time to test the idea in practice!

Perhaps you have been looking for a new idea for a long time, because the annual manipulation of balls and garlands are already bored, all possible and impossible color combinations in the decor are tested, and you still could not decide on radical solutions. The moment has come, go for it!

However, in this case, you hardly waited for the emergence of a new fashion. If your home is laconic or even ascetic style, it is unlikely that you have previously succumbed to the new year’s excitement, hung your house with tinsel and put a magnificent Christmas tree. But now you are in the trend!
