Are there areas in your garden that have lost their former attractiveness or just served their time? Be inspired by our ideas so that next season you can take up the “tuning” of your garden possessions with renewed vigor!
1. “Road” potted plants!
Blooming indoor pets will help disguise an unattractive area for transplanting.
Here, on the ground, the ribbon of the cuff, spotted nettle and catchment “stretched,” and actinidia began to curl along the wall.
2. Meadow with wildflowers
You can walk through the meadow with fragrant plants, even if they are very small, without even leaving the gate of your garden.
3. Original decor
From snail shells, make small decorations for the flower garden. Simple wooden or bamboo sticks will serve as a support.
This decoration is also suitable for decorating flower boxes and pots.
4. A quiet alley
One place to stay is good, and several are even better. Especially if the path to a secluded corner will run along an alley planted with wisteria and hydrangeas “Annabel”.
5. The woodpile in a new role
A protective screen has appeared from neatly stacked firewood – behind it you can place a garbage container or equip a place for compost preparation. In order for the design to be stable, we need a support and a strong back wall.
6. Unexpected accent
The boulder, which was placed on a gravel bed, divided the colorful flower garden into zones, making the picture more dynamic. It is surrounded by oatmeal, purple sage and red barberry. And sisirinchium striatum blooms in the background.

7. Fancy retro-style decor
If there is no place for a pond in the garden, make a “retro” column, as in the photo above (right). It is made of zinc buckets planted with algae and taps in antique style. To prevent algae from growing in buckets, it is better to install the composition in the shade.
8. Paradise
A fountain is placed on a small area covered with gravel.
Surrounded by rudbeckia with pink flowers, echinacea (in the foreground echinacea ‘Razzmatazz’, in the background — pale echinacea), pennisetum foxtail and monarda, this place attracts and calls to sit down and enjoy the beautiful view.
9. Edging for garden beds
The vegetable garden, surrounded by a low brick wall, looks neat and tidy. In addition, stones accumulate heat, which has a beneficial effect on the development of plants.
Daisies in pots unobtrusively emphasize the rustic charm of this corner.
10. Want bold contrast?
With pleasure! Blue cornflower and orange-calendula enhance the brightness of each other’s colors. Both plants are annual.
Calendula should be sown from April to June, blue cornflower – preferably in April, but it is possible in June. Why not create such a bright ensemble?
11. Let there be light!
Moisture-resistant colored paper lanterns suspended from trees illuminate an outdoor party and add mood, and in the daytime they will not go unnoticed. An important caveat: they do not need electricity, flashlights work from ordinary batteries.
12. Lay the ridges
When evening twilight falls on the garden, the elegant white flower garden shimmers with a fascinating, almost mystical light. This effect can only be produced by plants with white flowers.

13. Interesting approach
Who said that a stream should flow only among lush greenery and that herbaceous perennials cannot grow on a terrace among slabs? The photo above (on the right) demonstrates a new idea for the design of a walkway and a mini flower garden on a summer terrace. Agree, a very original solution.
14. The higher — the better
You can make a spectacular accent in a flower garden with the help of an original garden obelisk. And the more elegant, more beautiful and taller it will be, the better! Use bright details — this is an easy and quick way to make the garden even more beautiful!
15. Music of light
After a hard day’s work, nothing relaxes like sitting with your loved ones on a cozy bench in the garden. And to create a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, place candlesticks with flickering candles next to the place to relax.
